Job summary

InBody is seeking a Travel Repair Technician to service repairs of InBody New York products and perform general maintenance across multiple sites in the US. This full-time, on-site role is based at our Carlstadt, NJ warehouse, reporting to the Finance Manager.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in product support or repair, preferably in the medical device or electronics field.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team while also remaining self-motivated and working independently.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and passport.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of regular work schedule.
• Available Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
• Available for occasional overtime as the job requires.
• Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-house and on-site product service and repairs.
• Communicate with customers as needed to schedule on-site appointments and coordinate repair-related details.
• Track, organize, and log returned products (including consumer returns, internal equipment, and customer devices).
• Coordinate and organize the shipping and receiving of products.
• Prepare service and repair quotations and follow up on payment collection as part of the overall service process.
• Provide maintenance which includes, but are not limited to, technical inspections, repair, and calibrations.
• Assemble and disassemble of products for service repairs.
• Prepare reports and other data for accurate information and recordkeeping.
• Work with team members and other departments regarding technical and customer service-related issues.
