Job summary

Page Mechanical Group, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to ensure proper installation, commissioning, startup, training, maintenance and repair of designated Astec products. You will collaborate with engineering to analyze issues and train customer personnel for optimal performance.

You must read electrical, mechanical and control system drawings, perform on-site troubleshooting, and provide written service reports. Extensive domestic and international travel is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; experience considered a plus.
• 0-2 years in construction, manufacturing, or related field.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and electronics blueprints.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Install designated Astec products under supervision.
• Maintain positive, professional attitude with customers.
• Ensure proper start-up, operation, calibration, and interlocking of systems.
• Provide operator training on start-up, troubleshooting, and control operations.
• Submit written field service reports for daily activities.
