Job summary

ASTEC is seeking a Field Service Technician to ensure installation and operation of designated products, providing training and support to customers. This role requires at least a high school diploma, knowledge of electrical systems, and willingness to travel extensively. Technicians will need strong communication and analytical skills along with the ability to work independently. The position is full-time with responsibilities ranging from installation to responding to customer needs 24/7, and it requires adaptability to various work environments.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years' experience in construction, manufacturing, or related fields preferred.
• Ability to manage conflict and resolve issues positively.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation of Astec products under supervision.
• Conduct operator skills training for customers.
• Generate and submit daily field service reports.
• Coordinate with sales and engineering for product issues.

Skills

Knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits

Excellent communication skills

Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints
