Job summary

Astec is seeking a Field Service Technician to properly install and operate our infrastructure equipment, including startup, training customers, maintenance and troubleshooting. The role requires travel, strong communication, and ability to work with engineering to resolve issues for maximum customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 0–2 years in construction or manufacturing, with knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; experience a plus.
• 0–2 years in construction, manufacturing, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Install designated Astec products and commission startup, provide training, perform maintenance, troubleshoot and repair as needed.
• Generate field service reports for daily activities and submit as required.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering and manufacturing on product or process issues, including warranty and design recommendations.
