FMH Conveyors, a Duravant family company, seeks a Field Service Technician for Lifecycle Services. This travel-intensive role involves installation, start-up, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, audits, and training at customer sites across the United States.

Ideal candidates hold an AAS/BS in Mechatronics or related field with 3 years of field experience and hands-on PLC/servo drive expertise, plus a valid driver’s license. Willingness to travel up to 80% is required.

Competenze

• AAS or BS in Mechatronics, EE, EET, EECS or Industrial Electronics preferred.
• 3 years' experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronics/mechanical problems in the field.
• AB CompactLogix PLC and RSLogix500/5000 programming experience.

Mansioni

• Perform field service calls for installation, commissioning, maintenance, audits, retrofits, and training.
• Conduct mechanical and electrical modifications including PLC programs and servo drive configuration.
• Lead site meetings with customers to explain scope and train personnel.
• Meet service delivery goals: response time, first-time fix, customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with field service management and internal support to resolve issues.
• Provide equipment reliability feedback to quality engineering and collaborate on improvements.
• Ensure paperwork, timesheets, CRM entries, expenses, and other admin tasks are completed accurately.
• Provide occasional technical support at Lifecycle Services headquarters.
