Job summary

Duravant is seeking a Field Service Technician for the Greater Los Angeles area. The role covers installation, start-up, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs across our equipment portfolio.

Travel to customer sites is required to optimize performance and reliability. The ideal candidate holds an AAS/BS in Mechatronics or related field with 3+ years in field service, PLC experience (AB CompactLogix, RSLogix), and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years of field service experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronics and mechanical problems.
• Proficient with AB CompactLogix PLC and RSLogix programming; able to modify PLC logic.
• Ability to interpret schematics and perform electrical/mechanical modifications on equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, startup/commissioning, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and retrofit equipment to ensure uptime and performance.
• Document work orders, parts, and service reports; coordinate with customers and internal teams.
