Job summary

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Field Assessor for Commercial & Industrial Properties with substantial travel.

Responsibilities include on-site building assessments and QA/QC inspections across electrical, mechanical, fire & life safety, and structural systems for various property types. The role requires strong written communication, data collection, and adherence to safety and travel policies, with up to 75% travel and potential eligibility for incentives as

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university is preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in the field of property condition assessments is preferred.
• Experience in the MEP trades, home inspections or facilities maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• A motor vehicle background check must show: No serious traffic violations, no criminal motor vehicle convictions, and no moving violations showing disregard for safe operation.

Responsibilities

• Regional travel to perform on-site physical building assessments.
• Collect and document data using various resources as directed by the program needs.
• Identify deficiencies, hazards, or non-compliant issues and recommend corrective/remediation actions.
• Prepare proprietary reports summarizing findings, including specific required and named photographs and any supporting documentation.
• Communicate site visit results and compliance issues to key stakeholders.
• Understand and follow and strictly adhere to the company travel policy including submitting timely and accurate expense reports.
