Job summary

University of Arizona seeks an Accounts Payable Analyst II to support the Travel Expense & Card Services team within Finance & Budget. The role handles travel advances, reimbursements, and operational advances, ensuring compliance with policies and handling SAP Concur and KFS workflows.

The candidate will monitor workflows, provide user training, and contribute to efficiency and integrity of travel & expense operations while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of travel, expense reimbursement, procurement cards, and payment processing policies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong analytical skills for data, compliance, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze travel and expense reports for compliance with university guidelines.
• Review complex expense issues and resolve discrepancies.
• Interpret policy requirements and guide travelers and approvers.
• Identify recurring issues and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc operational reports and identify trends.
• Support audits through analysis and reconciliation of travel data.
• Assist with system testing, workflow enhancements, and process improvements.
