Job summary

Nightwing Intelligence Solutions, LLC in Sterling, VA is seeking a detail-oriented Travel and Expense Analyst to join our finance team. You will process employee expense reports, ensure coding accuracy, and uphold government regulations and company policies.

You will also develop travel and expense dashboards, provide guidance to staff, and identify cost-saving opportunities while supporting continuous improvement in expense management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin, or related field.
• 1–2 years travel and expense experience, government contracting preferred.
• Strong data analytics, ability to extract and interpret data for decisions.
• Experience with analytics/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Familiar with Emburse, Concur or similar platforms.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Review and process employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure travel and expense activities comply with policies and government regulations (FTR).
• Provide guidance to employees on travel/expense policies and reimbursements.
• Prepare and analyze travel/expense reports; identify cost-saving insights.
• Create and maintain travel/expense dashboards for end users.
• Coordinate travel and support continuous improvement in expense management.
