Job Summary
Join our dynamic team supporting innovative transportation projects across the Southeast! We’re seeking a detail-oriented Travel & Entertainment Analyst/AP Technicianto manage employee expense reporting, mileage logs, and vendor invoice processing. This is position is responsible for verifying and processing employee expense reports, mileage logs, and vendor invoices.
Responsibilities
Employee Support & Expense Management
- Help employees complete expense reports and mileage logs in a timely fashion.
- Review expense reports for appropriate supporting documentation and ensure costs are properly coded to the general ledger.
- Review mileage logs for completeness and ensure costs are properly coding to the general ledger.
- Calculate taxable fringe benefits related to personal usage of company vehicles.
- Help administer employee credit cards.
- Key vendor invoices into the approval system and manage their status.
- Transfer approved invoices into the accounting system ensuring proper general ledger coding.
- Research and resolve vendor invoice discrepancies and inquiries.
- Electronically deposit client checks and record in the accounting system.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage large volumes of data accurately.
- Proven ability to work independently and support other departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong time-management and prioritization skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a pre-employment screening; ICE is a drug-free workplace.
Education and Experience Requirements- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance, or a minimum of two years of Accounts Payable experience.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Prior experience in the architecture, engineering, or infrastructure industry is preferred.
Physical and Environmental Requirements- Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer workstation.
- Ability to visually differentiate details and color variations in digital documents.
Expected Hours of WorkThe ICE offices are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, allowing an unpaid hour for lunch daily. Work schedules may vary according to the project schedule. This is an onsite position reporting to the ICE office 5 days per week.
