American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of cardiac experience for a contract position in St. Louis Park, MN.

The role entails performing non-invasive cardiology procedures in a Heart & Vascular Center setting, with 8-hour day shifts starting between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM and occasional outreach to Stillwater or Westfields. Candidates must be RDCS and ARDMS certified, possess CPR/BLS, and have knowledge of ECG, arrhythmias, and sterile technique.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited Non-Invasive Cardiology Technology program.
• New graduates not considered.
• Ability to use defibrillator and crash cart.
• Knowledge of electrocardiography, arrhythmias and conduction disturbances.

Aufgaben

• Heart and Vascular Center setting performing non-invasive cardiology procedures.

• Floating to one outreach location per week on average (Stillwater or Westfields).

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Non-Invasive Cardiology Technology program
• Minimum of 2 years cardiac experience in a large hospital setting
• RDCS and ARDMS certification required
• CPR or BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Knowledge of electrocardiography, arrhythmias, and conduction disturbances
• Knowledge of sterile technique and basic mathematical principles including algebra
• Ability to use defibrillator and crash cart
• Ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation effectively
• Ability to work with critically ill/injured adult patients
• Ability to recognize and report equipment problems and malfunctions
• Ability to carry out basic clerical activities
• New graduates not considered

Responsibilities
