Job summary

Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Shawnee Correctional Center in Vienna, IL is seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients across Illinois facilities. You will work under the Director of Nursing and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, traveling per contract needs.

Active IL RN license, CPR/BLS, ability to obtain security clearance, and drug screen/background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with active Illinois license.
• Must be able to obtain security clearance, drug screen and criminal background check.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• One year RN experience in community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients.
• Collaborate with director of Nursing and multidisciplinary team.
• Travel between Illinois facilities as assigned by contract.

We are currently seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Shawnee Correctional Center in Vienna, IL. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.The Travel Program RN will work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Illinois, per contract needs. Each assignment will be restricted to one location. The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
