Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Lincoln Correctional Center in Lincoln, IL. The RN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of Nursing leadership.

The ideal candidate holds an Illinois RN license with CPR/BLS certification; corrections or travel nursing experience is preferred. Must live 90+ miles from the facility and be available for day shift travel assignments across

We are currently seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Lincoln Correctional Center in Lincoln, IL. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

The Travel Program RN will work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Illinois, per contract needs. Each assignment will be restricted to one location. The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.

Registered Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with an active license to practice in Illinois
• Must live 90+ miles from the facility
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• Corrections experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
