Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Illinois River Correctional Center in Canton, IL. The RN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients, working between facilities as needed.

Travel RNs must hold an active Illinois license, live 90 miles or more from the facility, and have at least one year of RN experience in relevant settings; CPR/BLS certification and ability to obtain security clearance are

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with an active Illinois license.
• Must live 90 miles or more from the facility.
• Minimum of one year RN experience in community outpatient, hospital or long-term care preferred.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background check).

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the Director of Nursing and Nursing Supervisor with a multidisciplinary team.
• Rotate between facilities across Illinois as per contract needs.

We are currently seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Illinois River Correctional Center in Canton, IL. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.The Travel Program RN will work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Illinois, per contract needs. Each assignment will be restricted to one location. The RN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
