Job summary

Centurion Health in Canton, IL is seeking a full-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team. The RN will provide holistic care at Illinois River Correctional Center under the guidance of Nursing leadership.

This role requires an Illinois RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and the ability to travel between facilities. Prior corrections or travel nursing experience is preferred; living 90 miles or more from the facility is required.

Qualifications

• Illinois RN license active.
• Must live 90 miles or more from facility.
• At least 1 year RN experience in outpatient, hospital, or long-term care preferred.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background).

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the Director of Nursing and Nursing Supervisor.

We are currently seeking afull-time Travel Registered Nurse (RN)to join ourCenturion Eagles Travel Teamat Illinois RiverCorrectional Center in Canton, IL. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.

TheTravel Program RNwill work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Illinois, per contract needs. Each assignment will be restricted to one location. TheRNis responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Registered Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with an active license to practice in Illinois
• Must live90 miles or more from correctional facility.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• Corrections experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
