NTT is building a specialized Tiger Team of Level II Data Center Technicians to upgrade coaxial cabling to fiber optics across multiple sites. The team leads initial deployments, establishes site processes, and travels nationwide, while supporting data center operations in home markets between deployments.
Ideal candidates have data center experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of structured cabling and fiber infrastructure. This is a contract role based out of Lincoln, NE.

NTT is building a specialized "Tiger Team" of experienced Level II Data Center Technicians to support the Hi-Fiber initiative for a major customer. This project focuses on upgrading existing coaxial cabling infrastructure to fiber optic technology across multiple locations.
The Tiger Team will serve as the first technicians deployed to new project sites, helping establish processes, procedures, and best practices during the initial 6-8 weeks of each deployment. Once a project is successfully launched and transitioned to ongoing support teams, the Tiger Team will move to the next location and repeat the process.
Between project deployments, technicians will support operations at NTT data centers within their home markets.
This role is ideal for experienced data center professionals who can immediately contribute in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have strong troubleshooting abilities, experience working in data center environments, and a solid understanding of structured cabling and fiber infrastructure. Long term, NTT plans to bring on Level I cable technicians to perform ongoing installation work, while the Tiger Team focuses on project startup, technical leadership, and issue resolution.
Support fiber migration projects, replacing legacy coax infrastructure with fiber optic cabling.
Lead initial project deployments and establish site processes and standards.
Perform troubleshooting and resolve cabling and connectivity issues.
Work closely with project teams to ensure successful site launches.
Travel to project locations nationwide as needed.
Support day-to-day data center operations when not assigned to a deployment project.
Data center operations and infrastructure support.
Fiber optic and structured cabling installations.
Cable testing, troubleshooting, and remediation.
Experience working independently in new environments.
This is a Contract position based out of Lincoln, NE.
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
