Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing in Daytona Beach, FL seeks a CVOR Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The role is 36 hours per week with 12-hour days, serving in the Cardiovascular Operating Room alongside a healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience as a surgical technician in an acute care setting.
• Current CPR provider card.
• Minimum of eighteen months CVOR experience or clinical orientation for open-heart care.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments per protocols.
• Scrubs for CVOR, assists in circulating roles.
• Picks supplies, sets up instruments, counts instruments and sponges.
• Obtains specimens and hands them to circulating nurse.
• Facilitates room turnover time.
• Participates in on-call schedule.
