Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role requires surgical technology credentials and CVOR experience.

You will scrub, circulate, and assist in open-heart procedures, with 12-hour days and 36 hours per week on assignment. The ideal candidate has CVOR experience and CPR certification, and will join a Joint Commission-certified staffing team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience in acute care.
• Current CPR provider card.
• Minimum 18 months CVOR recent experience or completed clinical orientation for open-heart care.
• Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation and cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments per protocols.
• Scrubs, 2nd circulating, and Heart Holder in CVOR.
• Picks supplies, sets up instruments, and counts instruments and sponges.
• Obtain specimens and hand over to circulating nurse.
• Facilitate room turnover and participate in on-call schedule.
