Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CVOR Technologist for a travel assignment in Phoenix, Arizona. This contract positions you in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, supporting scrubbing, circulation, and heart-holding roles.

The role requires CVOR experience or clinical orientation, Surgical Technology education, and CPR certification, with benefits including housing options and healthcare coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduates of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years of recent experience as a surgical technician in an acute care setting.
• Current CPR provider card is required.
• Minimum of 18 months CVOR experience or CVOR-specific clinical orientation.
• Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation for cardiac procedures and other procedures as needed.
• Experience with CABG and cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments per protocols.
• Scrubs for surgeries and supports roles in CVOR.
• Picks supplies, sets up instruments, and counts instruments and sponges.
• Obtains specimens and hands off to circulating nurse.
• Supports room turnover and on-call schedule participation.
