Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 26-week assignment in Erie, PA. The role requires CVOR experience, surgical instrumentation knowledge, and CPR certification to support open-heart procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience as a surgical technician in an acute care setting.
• Current CPR provider card.
• Minimum 18 months CVOR experience or CVOR orientation.
• Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation for cardiac procedures including CABG.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments per protocols.
• Scrubs, 2nd circulating, and Heart Holder roles in CVOR.
• Picks supplies, sets up instruments, scrubs for procedures, and counts instruments.
• Obtains specimens and relays to circulating nurse.
• Facilitates room turnover and participates in on-call schedule.
