Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC seeks a CVOR Tech for the Open Heart unit at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS. Travel assignment spans 13 weeks with a 7A–5P shift, onsite. Must have 6 months CVOR tech experience, BLS, NBSTA, CST, KS licensure, and vascular training.

Preferred ACLS and Open Heart/Cardiovascular experience. Procedures include CABG/AVR/MVR/TAVR; ECMO program restarting may be involved. On-call requirements: per unit policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' current CVOR Tech hospital experience.
• BLS.
• NBSTA Certification.
• Certified Surgical Tech (CST) Certification.
• Must have current active KS licensure.
• Must be vascular trained.

• Number of Staff – 4 RN, 3 CST
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – 1 CVOR RN and 1 CVOR CST
  • Night shift – No night shift, on call only
• Type of equipment -

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 6 months' current CVOR Tech hospital experience
• BLS
• NBSTA Certification
• Must have current active KS licensure
• Must be Vascular trained

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• ACLS
• Open Heart and Cardiovascular experience

• CABG and AVR
