Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solution External is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. The assignment features a 12-hour night shift, 36 hours per week, for 13 weeks, with start on 10/26/2026.

• Provide care for CVICU patients on nights

• Potential float to other stepdown units based on staffing

• Preferred Certifications: TNCC

• Years of Experience: 3 year Cardiac and/or Medical ICU, CVI experience of recovering open hearts directly from the OR

• Float Requirements: May be floated to other stepdown units depending on staffing needs

Hiring Profile

• Must Have Skills/Experience: 3 years Cardiac Medical ICU, inpatient only
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: experience with medical ICU patients, cardiac emphasis (arrhythmias, STEMI, post arrest)
• Type of Patients on Unit: sepsis, respiratory (pneumonia, COVID, ARDS, etc.) post cardiac arrest, GI bleed, DKA, PE, renal failure, liver failure, pancreatitis, overdose, suicidal ideations, CIWA
• Personality Fit: We expect excellence and hold each other accountable

Auto Offer Guidelines

• Flexible Guaranteed Hours - 36 or 48 hours - must be listed on submission form
• Blocked Scheduling (no specific days) may be approved based on facility requirements - must be listed on submission form
• RTO of 5 days or less, must make up the week on the back end
• Holiday RTO – can request only 1 per assignment
• Auto Offers are contingent upon facility approval. Offer may be retracted within 48 hours by the facility.
• Night shift orients on day shift. Traveler must be available the entire week for orientation.
