Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 3-5 years of XR and CT experience for a critical access hospital in Kentucky. You will perform XR and CT procedures in a 16-bed unit with 1:1 patient ratios and collaborate with other departments in a fast-paced imaging environment.

Requirements include ARRT and KBMIRT certification, BLS, graduation from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology, and current ARRT/KBMIRT licensure. Travel rate applies for residents 60+ miles away.

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 3-5 years of multi-modality experience in XR and CT for a critical access hospital.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in XR and CT required
• ARRT and KBMIRT certification required (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Must maintain current ARRT and KBMIRT certification in good standing
• Proficient in performing XR and CT procedures for all requested exams

Responsibilities

• Critical access hospital setting within the Diagnostic Radiology/Imaging Services department
• 16-bed unit with 1:1 patient ratios
• All patient populations served
• Works independently while communicating effectively with other departments
• Equipment includes GE PR500 and GE MAXIMA 64 Slice CT
• MEDHOST EHR used
• Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 5:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements
• Perform XR and CT procedures across all patient populations
• Scrubs required in any color, no casual clothing or jeans permitted
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
