American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for night shift in California with ARRT registration (CT) and EPIC experience preferred. The role requires licensure and ongoing compliance with radiology standards.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT registration and state license required
• CTA experience with CT modality preferred
• EPIC experience is required
• 2+ years CT experience within the last 3 months
• Radiology licensure and fluoroscopy/venipuncture credentials when applicable
• BLS certification current and active

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images
• Perform radiography and fluoroscopy procedures as needed
• Generate sagittal and coronal reformatted images for interpretation
• Use PACS and teleradiology to transfer images accurately
• Maintain records, billing information, and comply with HIPAA
• Assist with routine maintenance, calibration, and inventory
• Care for patients from adolescents to geriatrics
• Work night shift: Wed-Fri 7:00 PM–7:30 AM; holidays required
• No weekend coverage at this time

Education

ARRT registration (R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R))

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology

Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in state of practice

Advanced CT certification

Fluoroscopy license

Venipuncture certification

Current BLS certification

Minimum 2 years CT experience in last 3 months

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in state of practice required
• Advanced certification in CT modality preferred (license required if applicable)
• Fluoroscopy license required if operating fluoroscopy equipment (license required if applicable)
• Venipuncture certification required if administering contrast materials (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT within the last 3 months

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic Radiology department
• Night shift, Wednesday-Friday 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
• Required to work holidays that fall on a Wednesday-Friday
• No weekend coverage at this time
• Caribbean blue scrub color required
• EPIC experience required
• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissue
• Perform additional imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images correctly
• Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
• Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and supply inventory management for equipment
• Care for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatric populations
• Required vaccinations as condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
• Local candidates accepted with no radius rule; local pay rates match travel rates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
