Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift position requiring ARRT registration and Epic EMR experience. The role is in an acute care hospital and involves CT imaging with fluoroscopy and general radiography.

The candidate must have ARRT CT registration, state licensure if applicable, BLS, and experience in PACS/teleradiology. Epic EMR proficiency is required for charting and image transfer.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration as R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R) required.
• Radiologic Technologist license required in state of practice, if applicable
• Advanced CT certification preferred in CA
• BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy license required if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification required if administering contrast materials
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty required
• Recent experience within the last 3 months in submitted specialty required

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting
• Performs CT imaging along with general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
• Patient population ranges from adolescence through geriatric
• Night shift, 10:00 PM-6:30 AM, Monday-Friday, 8x5
• Epic EMR experience required
• Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information
• Ensures patient data integrity and HIPAA compliance
• Performs routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and supply inventory management
• Candidates with more than 5 days of RTO will be automatically declined
• Candidates with a prior hit on license will not be considered
• Local candidates accepted with rates equal to travel rates
• No radius rule in place
