Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a Level II trauma acute care facility. Requires 2+ years CT experience and ARRT certification, with BLS and California fluoroscopy certification.

Responsibilities include performing CT procedures across OR, ER, inpatient and outpatient settings on 10-hour shifts, with Radiologist on-site until 6 PM and on-call afterward. Travel and housing support available.

Qualifications

• ARRT, BLS, and California Fluoroscopy certification required.
• Level II Trauma experience preferred but not required.

• Use Cerner EMR and Philips iPatient CT scanners for imaging.
• 10-hour day shifts with Friday–Sunday rotations.
• On-call availability after Radiologist hours.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level II trauma acute care facility, requiring 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT certification.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
• Rad Tech I or Rad Tech II with CT experience required
• BLS, ARRT, and California state Fluoroscopy certification required
• Level II Trauma experience preferred but not required
• Must be a self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced radiology environment
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Acute care setting within the Diagnostic Radiology department at a Level II trauma facility
• Serves both inpatient and outpatient patients across OR and ER settings
• Uses Cerner EMR and Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16 CT scanners
• 10-hour day shifts including every Friday-Sunday
• Radiologist in house until 6 PM, then available on-call
• 1-2 shifts of floor-specific orientation provided
• Fast-paced environment with reduced staffing resources on night shifts
• Perform CT imaging procedures across OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings
• Reports to unit manager and team lead
• Teal scrub color required, except in OR where scrubs are provided
• Candidates will be expected to work holidays as needed
• Call requirements vary and will be discussed during the interview process
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
