Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring ARRT CT certification and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

The candidate will perform a broad range of CT studies, document in EPIC EMR, and may float across units within the health system. Night shifts total 44 hours/week with travel housing support available.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification and BLS required (license if applicable).
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience.
• 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required.
• Community hospital and Trauma Level II experience preferred.
• Proficient in contrast media preparation and administration, venipuncture, radiation safety and PPE.
• Proficient in multiplanar reconstruction and image post-processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT studies across abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, and more.
• Work with GE and Siemens CT equipment and PACS.
• Document in EPIC EMR; manage meds via Omnicell.
• Night shifts: 3x12h Fri-Sun and 7p-3a Mon, 44 hours/week.
• Float to other units or campuses as needed within the health system.
• Provide imaging for cardiac/vascular studies as required.

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring ARRT CT certification and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Requirements

• ARRT CT certification and BLS required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT
• At least 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR required
• Community hospital and Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Proficient in contrast media preparation and administration, venipuncture, radiation safety, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Skilled in multiplanar reconstruction and other image post-processing techniques
• Experience with specialized CT studies such as enterography, intravenous pyelogram, and colorectal studies with rectal contrast preferred

Responsibilities

• Adult and pediatric patient population across acute care, outpatient, ICU, and emergency department settings
• Performs CT studies including abdomen and pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, coronary CTA, brain perfusion, and vascular chest imaging
• Uses GE and Siemens CT equipment along with PACS imaging system
• Documentation completed in EPIC EMR
• Medications managed through Omnicell system
• 3x12 hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, plus 7p-3a shifts on Mondays, totaling 44 hours per week
• Floating to other units or campuses within the health system is required based on census needs
• Perform a wide range of CT imaging studies across multiple anatomical regions and specialties, including cardiac and vascular imaging
• May be required to float to other departments or campuses within the health system based on staffing needs
• Weekly orientation held every Monday, with annual compliance training required
• First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
