Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in upstate New York. CT/PET experience and ARRT (CT) certification with NYS license as applicable are required. You will perform a variety of CT procedures in a 410-bed community hospital, with 3x12-hour day shifts from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM, every 3rd weekend, no on-call.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year CT/PET experience
• ARRT CT certification and NYS license if applicable
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Contrast injection experience
• GE scanner experience preferred
• Ability to obtain intravenous access
• Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• CT procedures in a 410-bed community hospital
• 3x12-hour day shifts from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
• Every 3rd weekend required
• No call requirements
• Performs CT procedures with independence for diagnosis
• Candidate must have own vehicle
• Travel experience strongly encouraged
• No block scheduling
• Limit of 5 days of RTO; request at upload
• Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with 2-hour notice
• Dress code: scrubs of any color (no designs)
• 8 hours of orientation
• Possible discounted travel rate for within 50 miles or certain NY counties
• COVID vaccination strongly encouraged but not required

• Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with 2-hour notice
• Dress code allows personal scrubs of any color with no designs, cartoons, or hoodies
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
• Candidates within 50 miles of the facility or from specific NY counties may be eligible for a discounted travel rate
• COVID vaccination strongly encouraged but not required
