Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience to perform CT, X-ray and C-arm imaging in an acute care hospital setting in Pendleton, Oregon.

The role includes a single scanner CT department, day shifts Tue–Fri 0600–1630, with no weekend or on-call requirements. ARRT radiography and CT certification, BLS, and Oregon imaging license are required.

Qualifications

• ARRT radiography and CT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Oregon medical imaging license required.
• License required if applicable for the role.

Responsibilities

• Perform XR, CT, and C-arm imaging in acute care hospital Radiology.
• Operate single scanner CT department and support surgical cases with C-arm.
• Handle 10–15 CT and 10–20 XR studies on swing shift; 15–20 CT and 10–20 XR on day shift.
• Radiologist coverage in-house until 1700; use Merge PACS and Meditech EMR.
• Work 10-hour shifts Tue–Fri 0600–1630; no weekends/holidays/call.

• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Oregon Medical Imaging license required
• License required if applicable
• Does not require starting IVs

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting in the Radiology department, CT/X-ray unit
• Single scanner CT department
• Performs XR, CT, and C-arm imaging including surgical cases
• Potential to float to Surgery for C-arm support on cholangiogram or orthopedic cases
• Average volume of 10-15 CT and 10-20 XR studies on swing shift, 15-20 CT and 10-20 XR studies on day shift
• Radiologist coverage in-house until 1700
• Uses Merge PACS and Meditech EMR
• Department equipment includes GE X-ray, Toshiba CT, and Carestream portables
• Full-time day shift, Tuesday-Friday 0600-1630, 10-hour shifts
• No weekend, holiday, or call requirements
• Checklist-based department orientation providedBlack scrubs required; not provided by facility
• Radiation badge preferred but not required at time of submission
