American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a CT Technologist for a Level III Trauma acute care hospital in South Carolina. The ideal candidate has 1+ year CT experience and ARRT (CT) certification.

Responsibilities include performing CT exams across inpatients, outpatients and the ER, with 5x8 hour days and an on-call rotation. Travel-friendly benefits such as housing allowance and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year CT experience
BLS, ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (CT) certifications required
Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or ARRT certification by end of rotation
License required if applicable; state license at start mandatory; pending licenses not accepted
Skilled in starting IVs, administering contrast media, and assisting with biopsies
Radiation badge required and provided by agency
Epic charting experience preferred

Responsibilities

Perform CT exams on inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients (newborn to geriatric)
Interventional cases scheduled Mon, Wed, Thu
5x8 hour day shifts, Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
On-call rotation with weekday 5p–6a and weekend 3:30p Fri–Mon 6a (about every 4–5 weeks)
No floating between service lines or sister facilities
Work with PACS system
Reports to CT manager and radiology director
Level III Trauma, acute care hospital with 286 beds
Scrub color: teal top, black bottom
Block scheduling may be requested but not guaranteed
First-time travelers accepted
Local candidates within 60 miles considered case-by-case
May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season
All time-off requests require facility approval

Job description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level III Trauma acute care hospital, requiring 1+ year of CT experience and ARRT (CT) certification.

Scheduled interventional cases occur Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday only
5x8 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
On-call rotation required among staff, with weekday call 5p-6a and weekend call Friday 3:30p through Monday 6a (approximately every 4-5 weeks)
No floating between service lines or to sister facilities
Uses PACS system
Reports to the CT manager and director of radiology
Level III Trauma, acute care hospital with 286 staffed beds
Scrub color requirement: teal top and black bottom
Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
First-time travelers accepted
Previous MUSC staff (including PRN) must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
Local candidates accepted within a 60-mile radius on a case-by-case basis
During hurricane season (June-November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
All time-off requests must be submitted in advance and are subject to facility approval
