Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging for patients of all ages in a hospital setting. ARRT registration and Massachusetts radiologic licensure are required, with CT registry preferred. The assignment runs 13 weeks with a 7:00 AM–7:30 PM schedule on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

You must have radiologic technology training, BLS certification, and the ability to insert IVs. Travel housing allowances and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
• ARRT Registered RT(R) or RT(N).
• ARRT Registry in CT preferred; if not held at hire, must be obtained within one year.
• Licensed by the Massachusetts Radiation Control Board.
• License required if applicable.
• BLS certification required (AHA preferred; some facilities require AHA only).
• Knowledge of adult and older adult patient needs preferred.
• Ability to insert and remove IVs.
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed.

Responsibilities

• Work in Cat Scan department setting.
• Serve patient population from newborn to geriatric.
• Cover 7:00 AM–7:30 PM shifts on Fri, Sat, Sun.
• Perform a variety of CT procedures under physician and CT Ops Manager guidance.
• Operate imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic CT images.
• Follow all applicable policies and procedures.
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of MA General Hospital for local rate.
• No validated parking at Boston locations; use public transportation or paid parking.

• Performs a variety of CT procedures under the direction of a physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation
• Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts
• Follows federal, state, local, and hospital policies and procedures
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to qualify for the local rate
• No validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation or paid public parking required
