American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a CT Technologist for a Level III trauma center in Connecticut. The role requires ARRT CT and ARRT R certification with BLS, and hands-on experience with GE and Siemens CT equipment.

You will work nights on a 4x10 schedule, with potential to float between hospitals in CT and RI. Responsibilities include CT imaging across abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, and spine; vascular CTA and brain perfusion are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications and BLS.
• At least 1.5 years of hospital CT experience.
• Experience with GE and Siemens CT equipment.
• Proficient in CT post-processing: 3D rendering, MPR, ROI.
• Experience across abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal CT studies.
• CTA, biopsies, brain perfusion preferred; calcium scoring and coronary angiography preferred.

Responsabilités

• Work in a short-term acute care Level III trauma center with 252 beds.
• Operate CT department on GE Optima CT660 scanner.
• Work 4x10 hour night shifts, 18:00–6:30.
• Provide call and weekend coverage as required.
• Float between two CT sites in CT and one in RI; licensure in both states needed.
• Document in Epic EMR; maintain compliance with PPE and isolation procedures.
• Located within commuting range; some travel between campuses may apply.

Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years of hospital CT experience required
• ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS certification required
• Experience with both GE and Siemens CT equipment required
• Community hospital, Level I, and Level II trauma experience preferred
• Skilled in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, and spine/musculoskeletal CT studies
• Experience with vascular CTA, biopsies, and brain perfusion preferred
• Cardiac CT skills such as calcium scoring and coronary angiography preferred
• Proficient in isolation precautions/PPE, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Short term acute care Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds, part of Yale New Haven Health System
• CT department using GE Optima CT660 scanner
• 4x10 hour night shifts from 18:00-6:30
• Call and weekend coverage required as needed by the department
• Will be required to float between two hospitals in CT and one in RI, requiring licensure in both states
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Free parking available
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility for consideration
• Local candidates within 75 miles of the hospital are not accepted
• Up to 7 days of RTO can be auto-approved
• Former staff must be separated from the facility for at least 2 years to return as a traveler
• One reference required for consideration
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required with religious or medical exemption only
