Job summary

American Traveler seeks a CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Florida. Must hold ARRT CT certification and BLS, with at least 2 years of CT experience. Florida DOH license is required if applicable.

GE equipment and Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred. You will work in a 24-bed CT unit within a large teaching facility, supporting multiple specialties. Schedule runs Sunday–Tuesday, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, with 4–6 on-call shifts monthly.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of CT experience
ARRT CT certification is required
BLS certification is required
Florida DOH license if applicable
Experience with GE equipment and Meditech EMR is preferred
US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Two professional references for Florida placements
No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days in the past 12 months

Responsibilities

Operate CT scans, MRI, body scanner imaging, and X-rays
Create diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissues for accurate patient assessments
Work within a 24-bed CAT Scan unit in a 472-bed facility with a radiology team
Schedule includes Sunday through Tuesday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
On-call shifts: 4-6 per month on off days
Utilize GE equipment and Meditech EMR throughout workflow
Collaborate with radiologists, radiology techs, ultrasound techs, MRI techs, and CT techs
Support cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, bariatrics, and Women’s Services

24-bed CAT Scan unit within a 472-bed acute care medical/surgical facility and healthcare complex
Team includes radiologists, radiology techs, ultrasound techs, MRI techs, and CT techs
Day shift staffed with director, radiologist, and 6-7 techs; night shift staffed with charge RN, on-call team, and 3-4 techs depending on volume
Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 depending on patient stability
All GE equipment including MRI units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, and fluoroscopy
Meditech EMR system used
Schedule is Sunday through Tuesday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Call requirements of 4-6 shifts per month on off days
Perform CT scans, MRI, body scanner imaging, and X-rays
Create diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissues to assist in accurate patient assessments
Facility specializes in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, bariatrics, and Women's Services
Facility is a teaching hospital ranked among the best in the nation
Black scrubs required, to be provided by the candidate
Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates will be considered
