Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT-CT certification to work nights at a Level 2 trauma center. The role requires BLS certification and a license if applicable.

Responsibilities include CT exams across trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, and routine studies, using Siemens CT scanners and caring for patients from neonate to geriatric in ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Twelve-hour night shifts, 36 hours weekly, with no on-call required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent CT experience.
• ARRT-CT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Proficiency with trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine CT exams across all patient age groups.

Responsibilities

• CT Scan department at a Level 2 trauma center.
• Performs trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine CT exams.
• Operates Siemens CT scanners.
• Cares for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients from ED, inpatient, and outpatient services.
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, Fri/Sat/Sun 7:00 PM–7:30 AM.
• 36 guaranteed hours per week.
• No on-call requirements.
• Renders diagnostic imaging for a wide range of patients.

• Proficiency with trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine CT exams across all patient age groups

Responsibilities

• CT Scan department at a Level 2 trauma center
• Performs trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine CT exams
• Utilizes Siemens CT scanners
• Cares for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients from emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, Friday/Saturday/Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No on-call requirements
• Operates computerized tomography equipment to produce diagnostic imaging for a wide range of patient populations
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Does not accept candidates living within 50 miles of the facility
• Returning perm staff applying as travelers must have a 2-year break in service
• RTO must be requested prior to starting an assignment and cannot be requested after an offer is made
