Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a CT Technologist for a Level 1 trauma center in Florida, requiring 3+ years of CT experience and recent Canon/Toshiba scanner experience. Must have ARRT/NMTCB CT certification and Florida DOH license if applicable.

You will perform CT scans across trauma, stroke, oncology, MSK, bariatric, burns and cardiac cases, on a 12-hour shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 36 hours weekly, with on-call duties. Inpatient ED experience preferred; no extended employment gaps.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience.
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke program.
• CT certification by ARRT and/or NMTCB required.
• Florida DOH license required (license required if applicable).
• BLS certification required.
• Experience placing IVs and administering IV contrast.
• POC testing experience preferred.
• Recent experience with Canon/Toshiba scanners required.
• Inpatient hospital experience required, with emphasis on ED experience.
• No unexplained employment gaps over 30 days.
• At least 1 reference dated within the last 12 months required.

Responsibilities

• CT Whole Body Scan unit in a 1200-bed Level 1 trauma center with a comprehensive stroke program.
• Adult and pediatric patient population.
• Case types include trauma, stroke, oncology, MSK, bariatric, burns, cardiac, multiphase and volumetric scans.
• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, block schedule Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
• 36 hours per week.
• Holidays and weekends required.
• Must be open to floating.
• On-call as requested.
• Uses Bayer contract injectors and Canon/Toshiba scanners.
• EPIC (Radiant) EMR.
• Perform CT scans for diagnosis and treatment of trauma, stroke, oncology, MSK, bariatric, burns, and cardiac cases.
• May assist with patient transport from ED to CT.
• No RTO during the first 2 weeks of the assignment.
• Candidates with a 180-day or longer break in non-clinical employment will not be considered.
• Seasonal influenza vaccination required, with medical and religious exemptions allowed.
• Does not accept local candidates within 50-mile radius.
