American Traveler is seeking a CT/Rad Tech for a 13-bed hospital's Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory department. Requires at least 1 year of experience and ASCP certification or equivalent.

The position includes 4x10 hour day shifts 0700-1730 with 2–3 nights of on-call per week, potential holiday shifts, and possible travel to nearby labs. Benefits listed apply. First-time travelers welcomed.

Responsabilités

American Traveler is hiring a CT/Rad Tech for a 13-bed hospital's Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory department, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ASCP certification or equivalent.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in any setting
• MT, MLT, or MLS accepted for the position
• Montana State Laboratory Licensure (MT, MLT, or MLS) required if applicable
• ASCP certification or equivalent required
• Associate or bachelor's degree in science required
• Current BLS certification
• Phlebotomy skills highly preferred; willingness to train and perform phlebotomy duties required
• Strong communication skills and ability to prioritize work independently
• Comfortable working solo, especially during after-hours shifts

Responsibilities

• 13-bed hospital setting supporting inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patients
• Process orders for 15-20 patients per day
• Lab generalist duties covering chemistry, coagulation, hematology, urinalysis, and blood bank
• Works solo after business hours, performing phlebotomy as the only tech on duty
• Equipment includes Vitros 3400, Tosoh Immunoassay, Ortho Vision/Tube Method, Sysmex 450, Siemens Clinitek Status, Coagucheck POC, Ortho Triage, and PCR testing
• Testing responsibilities include Flu A/B, RSV, and Covid
• EMR: Cerner preferred
• Schedule of 4x10 hour day shifts, generally 0700-1730, on a monthly schedule broken into weekly segments
• Call rotation of 2-3 nights per week from 1730-0700, with infrequent or no weekend call currently
• Possibility of working holidays or being on-call on holidays
• Potential floating to Logan Health Shelby, Conrad, and Cut Bank labs to cover vacations, with advance notice provided
• Supports direct supervisor or working supervisor based in Kalispell, not on-site daily
• Lab Assistant support available during business hours; independent work required after hours
• House Supervisor available by phone for emergencies, with hospitalist on call
• No RT support on site
• Orientation includes NEO and 1:1 training for at least 2 weeks or until comfortable with analyzers and processes, working normal day shift hours during this period
• Mileage compensation provided if mid-shift floating is required
• Scrubs must be any solid, professional color
