Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certification to support a community hospital's radiology department.

The ideal candidate has CT and X-ray experience, Siemens equipment familiarity, and strong knowledge of contrast media preparation, radiation safety, and image processing. Evening shifts are required in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required; ARRT(CT) is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minnesota license is required if applicable.
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience.
• X-ray experience is required.
• Siemens equipment experience is preferred.
• Community hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred.
• Proficient in contrast media preparation, radiation safety, IV starts, PPE, and isolation precautions.
• Proficient in multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and image post-processing.

Responsibilities

• Work in CT Tech unit supporting adult and pediatric acute care, emergency department, and ICU patients.
• Perform abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, and spine CT studies with and without contrast.
• Perform colorectal studies with rectal contrast, vascular chest imaging (CTA, PE, aorta), and trauma head imaging.
• Evening shift, 5x8 hours, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
• Use Siemens CT equipment; familiar with Meditech charting system.
• Perform CT imaging across multiple anatomical regions including head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and spine.
• Collaborate with radiology team in a community hospital setting.
• Local candidates accepted at travel rates; travel experience preferred but Siemens experience can be considered.
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role.

• Uses Siemens CT equipment
• Meditech charting system experience preferred
• Perform CT imaging across multiple anatomical regions including head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and spine
• Work alongside radiology team in a community hospital setting
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Travel experience preferred but candidates with extensive Siemens experience may be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
