American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a CT Technologist in Connecticut for a Magnet-designated teaching hospital. You will perform CT imaging on abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine, chest, including cardiac studies, using Siemens CT equipment and Epic EMR.

The role requires ARRT CT and ARRT (R) certifications, a CT license if applicable, and at least 1 year of hospital CT experience. Teaching hospital and Level I/II trauma exposure preferred; travel and housing perks available.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with Siemens experience and at least one year of hospital-based experience for a Magnet-designated teaching hospital.

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications required
• CT license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of hospital-based CT experience required; Siemens experience required
• Epic experience required
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Level I/II trauma experience preferred
• Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration, peripheral IV starts, radiation safety, and isolation precautions/PPE
• One professional reference required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Magnet-designated teaching hospital with 186 staffed beds
• Day shift, 3x12 hours, Friday-Sunday 7:00 AM-8:00 PM, 37.5 hours per week
• Uses Siemens CT equipment and Epic EMR
• Performs CT imaging of abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and chest including cardiac and vascular studies
• Utilizes 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement techniques
• Supports adult and pediatric patients across acute care, outpatient, ED, and ICU settings
• Free on-site parking available
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID-19 vaccine and booster required, with religious/medical exemptions only
• Travelers must be gone from facility for 2 years before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates not accepted within 75 miles of the facility
• Up to 7 days of RTO can be auto-approved
