Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a CT Technologist for a 26-week travel assignment in New York. The role requires NYS licensure and ARRT CT certification, plus contrast injection experience. You will work in a community hospital CT department on 3x12-hour day shifts with no on-call duties.

Applicants should have at least 1 year CT/PET experience, be comfortable with Epic EMR systems, and have reliable transportation. Travel perks include housing allowance and licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year CT/PET experience required.
• NYS license required if applicable, and ARRT (CT) certification required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Contrast injection experience required.
• GE scanner experience preferred.
• Must have own vehicle.
• Ability to obtain intravenous access.

Responsibilities

• Community hospital setting within the CT Scan department.
• 3x12-hour day shifts.
• Every 3rd weekend required.
• No on-call requirements.
• No block scheduling considered for this assignment.
• Perform a variety of CT procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed techniques for diagnosis.
• Capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Prioritize and organize daily workflow effectively.
• Scrubs of any color permitted, no designs, cartoons, or hoodies.
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required.
• No more than 5 days of RTO accepted, and must be requested prior to upload.
• Facility can cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with 2-hour notice.
• Previous or current travel experience strongly encouraged.
• COVID vaccination strongly encouraged but not required.
