Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with strong orthopedic and general surgery experience for a 13-week contract in Idaho. The ideal candidate will be independent in total joint procedures and proficient in a broad range of cases, with SPD experience considered a plus.

The role features a day shift schedule (0730-1530) with no on-call requirement, and potential extension based on project needs. Applicants should have NBSTSA certification and licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• NBSTSA certification required; NCCT certification not accepted.
• License required if applicable.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Independent in total joint procedures with orthopedic experience.
• Competent in general and orthopedic cases.
• Proficient in endoscopy, colonoscopy, lap and open procedures.
• Experience in SPD is a plus.
• One reference required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical technologist duties across general and orthopedic procedures.
• Support Surgical Services department with general and orthopedic cases.
• Day shift: 5x8-hour shifts, 0730–1530.
• 13-week contract with option to extend; may float to different units.
• No on-call requirement; may stay late to finish cases.
