American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR role in Texas. CST certification and orthopedic surgical experience are required; a license is required if applicable and robot experience is preferred.

The position supports total joints, ortho trauma, robotic general and ENT procedures in a five-OR unit. Day shift 6:30 AM–3:00 PM with on-call obligations and occasional floating, rewarding travel perks and licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

• CST certification required.
• Orthopedic surgical experience required.
• License required if applicable.
• Robot experience preferred.
• First assist certification preferred.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Support total joints, ortho trauma, robotic general and ENT procedures.
• Operate DaVinci Xi and Stryker Mako robot in daily OR work.
• Document in Meditech EMR.
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with on-call 3–4 weeknights and 1 weekend per month.
• Occasional floating to cover OB OR call.
• Work with a team of nurses, techs and a charge RN on day shift.
• Night shift coverage is on-call only.

Responsibilities

• Hospital Surgical Services unit with 5 operating rooms and a staff of 12
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Utilizes 2 DaVinci Xi and a Stryker Mako robot
• Meditech EMR
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• On-call requirement of 3-4 weeknights per month and 1 weekend per month
• Rare, occasional floating to cover OB OR call
• Perform surgical technologist duties supporting total joints, ortho trauma, robotic general and GYN, pediatric dental, pain, urology, and ENT procedures
• Work alongside a team of nurses, techs, and a charge RN on day shift
• Night shift coverage is on-call only with 1 RN and 1 CST
• Ideal candidates are team players who are responsible and punctual
• 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates will not be considered
