Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
• CST credential is preferred; license may be required where applicable.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a surgical technologist.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scrub tech during operative and invasive procedures.
• Prepare, organize, and pass instruments and supplies.
• Maintain sterile field and assist with sterile draping.
• Perform counts with the RN circulator and prep sterile dressings.
• Clean and prepare instruments for processing and transport.
• Support post-procedure turnover and ongoing education.
