Job summary

American Traveler seeks an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital operating room position in California. Requirements include BLS and NBSTSA CST certification; minimum 2 years of OR experience and prior travel experience.

Responsibilities include 4/10 shifts with start times of 0700, 0900, or 1100, every other weekend, and on-call as needed. EPIC charting is used; robotics experience is valued for Da Vinci and Mako systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience.
• BLS certification required.
• NBSTSA CST certification preferred.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Community hospital general OR setting
• 4/10 shift schedule with start times 0700, 0900, or 1100
• Every other weekend
• On call required as needed
• 1:1 patient ratio experience
• EPIC charting system used
• Experience with vascular, gynecology, orthopedic, general, neurosurgery, urology, and robotics is valued
• Familiarity with robotic systems such as Da Vinci and Mako is a plus
• Scrub attire may be any solid color
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract with only 1 holiday request
• Accepts local candidates at the local rate
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius to qualify for travel rate
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
