Responsibilities

• Long Term Care (LTC) setting within the Occupational Therapy department
• 8-hour day shift schedule, 35 guaranteed weekly hours
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Group therapy sessions offered to support treatment productivity
• Dedicated documentation device typically provided per therapist
• Compact license accepted
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Administer treatment interventions including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, and use of assistive devices
• Assess patient progress and communicate updates to supervising Occupational Therapist
• Document all treatment information accurately in the electronic documentation system
• Participate in required meetings such as patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings
• Assist supervising therapist with DME or supply needs as required
• Support and supervise students under therapist guidance when applicable
• Adhere to NBCOT/AOTA standards and state practice acts
• Up to 7 days of requested time off (RTO) may be accommodated
