Job summary

Good Samaritan in Pipestone, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, bathing, hygiene, and mobility under RN supervision, following care plans and infection control policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification is required and provided by the facility; Colorado: QMAP certification may be required in certain facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, hygiene, dressing, meals and mobility.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers and care activities per care plan.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and PPE usage.
