Job summary

Good Samaritan is hiring Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in long-term care within a Christian-affiliated setting in Pine River, MN. The role requires CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing and adherence to infection control policies.

Travel to support multiple locations within a 75-mile radius is required. Minimum 30 hours per month with at least one weekend shift monthly; weekend/evening/night diffs apply and premium pay is offered.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
CNA certification with State Board of Nursing required, or in process within four months of start; certification provided by facility.
CO: QMAP certification may be required depending on facility.
Annual continuing education: minimum 12 hours.

Responsibilities

Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, transferring, and mobility; document outcomes.
Record vital signs and monitor residents; support food preparation and dining experiences.
Communicate changes in resident condition to charge nurse; participate in care planning and infection control.
