Job summary

Good Samaritan in Pipestone, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, document care and vital signs, and support the care team under RN oversight.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing or in process of certification.
• Annual continuing education requirement (minimum 12 hours).

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the nurse in charge.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and range of motion.
• Assist with meals, hygiene, and comfort; support activities and well-being.
