Job summary

Women’s Care in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide professional clinical support in a PRN float pool. The position involves travel to clinics within the region as needed, preparing patients for exams, performing phlebotomy and injections, and maintaining sterile exam rooms according to policy.

Requirements include a CMA certification, high school diploma or GED, CPR/BLS (preferred or within 30 days).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Medical Assistant certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtainable within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during procedures.
• Restock, sterilize exam rooms and lab areas per policies.
• Record medical history, health maintenance and chief complaint.
• Measure and document vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy and injections as directed.
• Educate patients with guidance from providers.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant environment.
• Travel to local clinics as needed.
• Represent the office professionally and attend required meetings.
