Job summary

Women's Care in Orlando, FL seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to join our PRN float pool. You will prepare patients, assist providers, restock rooms, collect vitals, and maintain safety per HIPAA and policies. Travel to clinics in the region as needed.

Requirements include CMA certification, CPR/BLS, 1+ year OB/GYN experience, medical terminology knowledge, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
• Current CPR and/or BLS certification preferred or able to obtain within 30 days.
• At least one year of recent experience in OBGYN.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and injections if applicable.
• Interact professionally with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during procedures.
• Prepare, restock, and sterilize rooms, labs, and care areas.
• Record medical history and chief complaint; measure vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy and injections per policy as directed.
• Educate patients with information and instructions from providers.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and safe work environment.
• Travel to clinics within the region as needed.
• Represent the office professionally and participate in team activities.
