Job summary

Women’s Care is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a PRN float role. You will support OB/GYN clinics, preparing patients, taking vitals, and assisting providers across multiple locations.

Travel to clinics in the local region is required. A CMA with OB/GYN experience, strong terminology knowledge, phlebotomy and injections skills, and EMR proficiency (eCW) is preferred; HS diploma and CMA credential are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medical Assistant credential required.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtainable within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers.
• Prepare, restock, and sterilize exam rooms and labs.
• Record medical history, health maintenance, and chief complaint.
• Measure and document vital signs; perform phlebotomy/injections if applicable.
• Educate patients per provider instructions.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional conduct.
• Travel to clinics within the region as needed.
• Attend required meetings and participate in team activities.
